On the 18th, domestic cotton prices stabilized slightly

Recently, the sales volume in the domestic textile market has remained muted and cotton yarn prices have continued to fall. On July 17, according to the monitoring data of the Business Society, 21 cotton combed yarns were quoted at 24,460 yuan/ton, down 60 yuan/ton or 0.24% from the previous week. The average sales price of standard lint in the Mainland was 19,245 yuan/ton, which was a decrease of 15 yuan/ton or 0.77% from the previous week. On the 18th, domestic cotton spot prices fell steadily.

The China Reserve Cotton Management Corporation announced that last week (July 8-12), the reserve cotton injection plan was 1.377 million tons, and the actual turnover was 132,000 tons, which was a decrease of 89,000 tons from the previous week, and the transaction rate was 9.6%, compared to last week. Decrease by 8.5 percentage points. The average transaction price of reserve cotton was 18,780 yuan (the same below)/ton, and the transaction price of 328 grades was 19,106 yuan/ton (gong weight), which was a drop of 78 yuan/ton from the previous week. As of this week, the cumulative sales volume of reserve cotton this year was 2.866 million tons, and the transaction rate was 24.8%.
